The Happy Chick Company offers ethical chick hatching experiences with our incredible eggs every time, with guaranteed results. We offer our chick hatching services to nurseries, schools, nursing homes and other private groups across Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, London and surrounding areas.
We supply all of the specialist chick hatching equipment and set this up for you. We take lots of time to ensure our knowledge and expertise is passed on to you and we provide our step by step chick hatching manual for anything you can’t remember. We are just a phone call away with our advice line open 7 days a week, 8am until 8pm.
Our incredible eggs are only a day or two from hatching and when the chicks are 8 or 9 days old it is time to say goodbye. We will then return to collect the equipment and the chicks. We always rehome our chicks with vetted small holders who love their animals as much as we do, or you may continue to care for your chicks and offer them a home yourselves. We offer lots of help, guidance and information for you to ensure you are best equipped to give them full and happy lives.

Hello from Madeline...
I founded the happy chick company in 2009, with the vision of creating a company that is truly ethical. All of my business decisions are based upon doing the right thing, with animal welfare and customer happiness at the heart of everything I do. From the age of eleven, when I reared my first chicks on, I have been potty about poultry and (without giving my age away) I have been a chicken keeper for over thirty years!
Animal contact in schools and nurseries is so important to ensure that the children of today become our animal lovers of the future. The Happy Chick experience enables all ages to learn about, empathise, bond with and respect animals.
The happy chick company is a family run business, with my active involvement in all that we do. My promise to you is that we are ethical, the health and hatch rates of our chicks is excellent and I am proud of the high welfare standards we provide. The healthy chicks we collect from our customers are rehomed every time, including the males, under our ‘home all’ policy.
